Ken Takemoto / Mr. KimMr. Kim is behind on the rent. His daughter wants him to retire. Can he keep the shop alive? Ken Takemoto is a native of Hawaii. After 34 years of teaching art, he retired from the Los Angeles Unified School District to become an actor, costume designer and prop master. He has appeared on stage at East West Players. Erin is a sometimes writer, a budding filmmaker, an always activist and a perpetual performance artist who hails from nowhere in particular. 100% HUMAN HAIR is an American Film Insitute (AFI) Directing Workshop for Women project. The American Film Institute (AFI), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the art of the moving image, established the Directing Workshop for Women (DWW) in 1974. DWW provides talented women with the opportunity to transition into directing narrative projects. Former DWW participants include Maya Angelou, Randa Haines and Lesli Linka Glatter.
